Weld Hall has been a classic time piece of Holderness School since 1962. And as times have changed and the school
has progressed over the years and expanded and grown into the respectable place it is known as today, the school board has
recognized the need to have a little "facelift" on the heart of the school's campus.
The construction started immediately after special programs and is now in its third month of renovation. Strong
progress can easily be established from the constant workers and labor being put into the building. There are high hopes
that the new Weld will be completed this coming Fall before the 2008/2009 school year begins.
The major renovations that are occuring are going to provide the school with a bigger dining hall, a more efficient
and state of the art kitchen and food serving area, as well as a larger recreation area for the students, and a new faculty
lounge as well. The enhancements will only bring beneficial results to Holderness.
